Saif Kaisar
Alberta Legislative Bureau ChiefJournalist
Every story, slugged the way they went to air — with every format they ran in. Packages, VO/SOTs, web files and radio hits since 2019.
TV, radio and web reporter covering Alberta politics from Edmonton, after stints in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa.
A decade-long veteran of newsrooms, Saif Kaisar has covered the Alberta Legislature since 2019. From breaking natural disasters to Parliament Hill, Quebec’s National Assembly, and city halls across Canada, he has reported from the epicenter of the country’s biggest stories.
Since graduating from Algonquin College in Ottawa, he’s filed for TV, radio and digital, often all three on the same story. He has also hosted radio talk shows, and worked in the eSports industry. Through it all, his goal remains unchanged: getting real answers to the stories you care about. Outside of the newsroom, he can usually be found walking his dog, Kia.
